aczwill 0 Posted April 20, 2012 I was banded on March 12 th, and now in the pureed foods and thicker liquids stage. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can have without actually purée'ing the food? Puréed foods don't sound too good to me.

Im surprised you are still in the pureed food stage and not in solids yet. I know every doc is different...when are you allowed solids?

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can have without actually purée'ing the food? Puréed foods don't sound too good to me. I made this and now my husband wont stop asking me for it. when it is done you turn it over and it becomes very mushy I realize it may not be the healthiest but I only eat 1 cup of it and nothing more. Tater Tot Casserole 1 lb ground turkey cooked, seasoned, drained 1 2lb bags tater tots 1 cans cream of mushroom 1 cans evaporated milk 1 cans cream of chicken Brown meat & place in large cass. dish. Cover with tater tots. Mix Soup & milk together. Pour over top. Bake at 350 for 1 Hour.

Sal58 4 Posted April 21, 2012 I got a few jars of that as well. If nothing else a change of taste from shakes. Today is day 6 post op and I feel 100% better. I actually slept through the night. Yipee! Will not over do it today but it sure feels good to not have that intense shoulder gas pain this morning. I see sunshine!
