cher3150 0 Posted February 28, 2006 Hi All, Can anyone help me please, I have not lost anything now for just over 4 weeks, I have around 800 to a 1000 kcal a day under 25 gms of fat a day, I workout on my cross trainer at home and I work all day on my feet, non stop on the move, So what am I doing to stop the pounds coming off, I would be happy with a pound a week but nothing:think Thanks Cherie :help:
K@t 38 Posted February 28, 2006 Hey Cherie, I dunno if this helps or not, but I heard some people saying that they lost more when they ate a bit more, like around 1200 a day. When you eat to little I guess the system goes into shock and tries to save every little bit. I think u have to find the right balance. Hope that helps, good luck! Jill_S 1 Posted February 28, 2006 Yea. When I work out, I make sure I get more calories. For example, if I know I'm not going to work out that day, I keep it around 800, but if I am, I go up to 1200-1300. Your body may be holding onto the weight in starvation mode. JAYGERL05 0 Posted March 1, 2006 that is correct, if your body believe it is starving it will hold on to the food thus no weight loss. Also make sure you are getting enough Water and eating the right foods.
La_madam 20 Posted March 1, 2006 up your calories to atleast 1200 that may get things going again..800 -1000 is too low, your body may think you are starving it and remember if you are working out, muscle weighs more then fat, you may be producing some muscle there with all your crosstraining, for me easing up on the exercise and uping my caloreis always worked..whenever I exercised I never lost weight if you can beleive that!
