2muchfun 8,927 Posted April 18, 2012 No worries. It's a long journey and there will be bumps along the way. Just think of how worse it could have been if you had wandered into a Cinnabun?
ssmsdjs 11 Posted April 18, 2012 We all fall off the wagon once in a while. Don't let it get you down we all have those days and there will be more. Just mark it up to trial and error and move on. It does get better
Lannae 46 Posted April 18, 2012 It's hard isn't it...but just think it will get easier...Just keep it up the best you can!!
lifebegins2012 21 Posted April 18, 2012 My hunger started on day four too. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and have had many slip ups! For me it happens when I've not had enough Fluid. My dietician has reassured me but do remember you are currently healing and by having the solids so early on, you are making your stomach work when it should be resting. I was told to add potato to my Soups as it thickens them plus the starch will help to fill you up. It really did help. The sugar free jellies are lovely, sweet and a good distraction too. Make yourself a planner and try and plan your meals and fluids. This does help you focus. Also coming on here when you feel like you're about to have a wobble and reading the posts helps to inspire and drive you on!. Good luck ;0)
1shauna1 129 Posted April 18, 2012 You do get hungry....I would try to opt for a better choice in the future though. This will be the hardest time, until you get your first fill. But you can get through it!
