Lew_Lang 0 Posted April 18, 2012 I had my surgery in July and to date I have lost 128 lbs. Its really a mind set. Its going to be hard at first, because when your doctor installed your lapband, he left it empty or with very little saline. You will really not see a difference until you get your third or fourth fill. make sure you follow the doctors orders and get a fill once a month. I wish you all the luck in the world. If you follow the plan, it will work. I also found that popcorn is a very good snack for lapband patients.

Lew_Lang 0 Posted April 18, 2012 21 lbs is awesome. I was fortunate enough that I never battled with the hunger issue. I have found that after 4 fills you really need to revisit what they taught you before surgery. I have found that a lot of what I eat will get stuck if I am not careful. bread is the worst. I have given up on trying to eat bread. Good luck on your journey
