My journey is a 3 month process wit my insurance. I had my 1st dr. appointment on the 11th and I have my next appointment wit the nutritionist and psychiatrist on the 22nd of may then one more dietitian appointment in june. So I'll be getting banded in july I'm excited, nervous, worried,happy, and scared all at the same time.

Congratulations to you. I just got banded on the 29th and my daughter just finished her insurance requirements and now is awaiting approval for surgery in May.

Congrats! My insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet and I am on month 3. I'm getting banded in July too!

I had a 6 month waiting period for my insurance, as well. My last appointment is Thursday and surgery is scheduled for May (keeping fingers crossed). Congrats on starting your new journey and the time will fly by!
