magicfanpjc 8 Posted April 16, 2012 Had my band put in Fri 13. SO thankful my doc keeps his patients overnight in the hospital. I don't know how people go home after surgery. Anyway, doing well except I don't want to consume anything. I can do tea, but so sick of broth, juice, and Jello that I'd rather not have them. I'm not hungry, but I'm concerned about dehydrating. cakelly73 28 Posted April 16, 2012 I agree with the overnight hospital thing! So glad my Doc has us stay one night as well. Congrats on the band! I am 7 months out, and doing great. i do not miss the liquid stage AT ALL!! i hated that 2 weeks, but i did lose 15 lbs during that time, so i guess it was worth it! You will find it gets easier day by day. I can still eat anything, so i do not feel deprived.
