I am 19 years old and I can bot wait to get started losing weight after surgery. However, I am a little worried about what will go on during surgery. My pre op appt is April 25 but some information from someone who has been there would be nice ?!?!

Natbug2011 - Congrats. There are some great utube videos of the proceedure available to watch if you are asking what goes on during the process. I also googled "utube lap band success" and there are hundreds of people that post video blogs of their weekly progress. I learned a ton by those videos.

Otherwise, there are great things to read on this site.

I saw your next post that said "NOT*". So if you ddid not want advise, sorry for responding.

Thanks for replying Lol sorry I had a typo in the post before and I was correcting it with the not* but I was wondering more along the lines of what type of sedative I would be under and things like that
