Tummy Tuck Scar Pics At Eleven Days

Recommended Posts

I took the micropore tape off today to change it and dared a look at the scar. So pleased with it, it is lovely and neat - you see so many scars that a very uneven and lack symmetry online. Its a very straight scar due to the lack of skin I had to work with, and again, i say that pics dont do it justice! My tummy is so much neater than it was, even though I am not a lot smaller. Given that I heal up well and my scars tend to lose their colour very quickly and stay flat, I dont think the height of this scar is going to be a big problem. Still quite significantly swollen too, so I am anticipating a lot more improvement in terms of muscle definition and slimness.

Jacqui you are amazing! You look wonderful, but then I would have thought so before you had you TT. And you're so brave to post pics.

I've tried to recreate yor workouts...I'm not quite where you are. BUT I try to do RPM spin 3 days a week and run twice a week for 40-45 minutes. I will grow and do more...5 days a week is my limit..maybe 6.

You are a beacon of hope and motivation

Good news - my backless, newly invisible port was easily accessed today within a millisecond for an unfill (heartburn which I've had since the tt)

Yeah! Jachut and Jazzy! I am jealous but old and don't like the pain from surgery. I guess I will live with my "apron". Karen

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
