I'm looking into getting a scale at home because I don't want to drive an hour round trip to use my primary care physician's (plus I'd have to make an appointment just to hop on the scale.). So does anyone have any recommendations?

I just recently bought a Weight Watchers scale. It's about a pound different from my Dr.s very expensive scale. Im not sure what it cost as i got mine at Goodwill for $5.00. Try your 2nd hand stores first before you pay full price. I would have paid retail for mine anyway, it's VERY exact. Instead of showing 195 lbs, it will show 195.2 lbs , for example. Im very happy with watching that # go down, even if its just a half of a pound. Good luck !

I have a digital one as well. I think i got it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond...you put your height in and it tells you your fat % it also saves it for you so the next time you weigh it remembers your weight from before and tells you the difference...it does the math. If you really want to get fancy Tanita ( not sure if I spelled it right) makes the best.

I did a little research and ordered the EatSmart Precision Digital scale on Amazon. It is VERY consistent and ACCURATE. I love it. Highly recommend.

Thanks everyone. What capacity are those? I'm a high number. I'm standing at 530lbs (down 15lbs since my band was put in last Monday.) so I need a high capacity scale.< /p>

The EatSmart scale has a 400 lb capacity. I am not familiar with the higher capacity scales. Good luck in finding a good one!! :)
