tammyg1969 7 Posted April 4, 2012 3 weeks post op and finally got to eat real food. (not puréed or liquid) went well except I know I ate to much. I need to learn to listen to my stomach and not my mouth. I think I feel better when I'm on liquids.< /p>
tammyg1969 7 Posted April 5, 2012 What did u eat? I went out for Mexican ate maybe 1 enchilada and a few bites of refried Beans... Oh and if course a few chips and salsa... I really can't wait for my first fill cuz I need more restriction... I normally would have been able to eat the other 2 enchilada and rice (brought the rest home to hubby) so I know I'm eatting a lot less, but I know I shouldn't have been able to eat as much as I did. 1shauna1 129 Posted April 5, 2012 It's hard until you have a fill as you're still just relying on your willpower which many of us struggled with before this surgery (and wouldn't have needed the surgery if we had strong willpower!). Don't beat yourself up over it. Eat the rest of the time as you're supposed to and I'm sure this one meal won't derail you!
