andrea0121 28 Posted April 4, 2012 Andrea: how much weight have you lost if you don't mind me asking... Hi, I've lost 65lbs. It's taken me 15 months to get to this point and I have at least another 60 to go. I'm a slower loser (I have no thyroid and have PCOS) so don't go by my story, plus it took me forever to get to restriction.
elcee 3,341 Posted April 4, 2012 Jen if you can barely eat a few bites then you are too tight. If you are sliming when you drink then it is pretty obvious that you are too tight. You need to go for a small unfill, if you don't you could be setting yourself up for some serious problems . Also as you have found out when you are too tight you don't actually lose any weight. shay33 18 Posted April 4, 2012 I would say increase your Protein in the evening. That has helped me anyway. The good thing about protein is that it makes you burn twice the calories. (per my doctor) Hope this helps. I know for me night time eating is my enemy. I fight myself wanting to snack. I bought some frozen fat free lemonade and just eating that slowly in the evening helps me feel like Im getting something.

andrea0121 28 Posted April 5, 2012 Omg.... I have pcos AND hypothyroidism : / maybe this is why I'm losing fast enough how discouraging : / Well crap, lol. Don't get discouraged!!! Any loss to me is a good loss, no matter how long it took me to get there. I know for a fact if I hadn't have had the surgery I would have put on at least another 30 lbs. disappointed29 1 Posted April 5, 2012 I am with you on that. I was banded on January 14. The first 2 weeks I lost 15lbs. Since then I have lost 1 lbs. I am so disappointed. I had a fill of 2cc on 2/18 and on 3/3. I am still feeling hungry. Why does it seem like this is working for everyone exept me. I expected to loose at least a pound a week. MandiMand 17 Posted April 5, 2012 I'm glad to see all the suggestions and also thanks to those who shared your own stories, it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one feeling this way. I have been cleaning a little here and there today, and while it's not hard core cleaning, I think it's progress. I guess I could apply that to my WLS journey. A little progress here and there is better than no progress at all
