Brandi18 2 Posted April 2, 2012 Does anyone else feel this way? I'm so tired! I have no energy and I feel like I could sleep all day. I'm trying to get all my Protein in but frankly I don't have much of an appetite either. :-(
superluli 17 Posted April 2, 2012 I was the same. Slept ten hours at least every day. I enjoyed it though, snuggling in bed every day watching tv and sleeping so much, sleep is good But I was lucky, I live with my sis and she pampered me big time! She got up early to make me my own liquid food to take to work and made me liquid dinner every night! I'd say stick it out, once you start eating u'll get energized again and your body will soon adapt. I just had my 3rd fill 5 days ago and just started eating solids tonight, this morning it was so difficult to get out of bed, but it gets better 1 Brandi18 reacted to this

jackieu 19 Posted April 4, 2012 I need to remember my vitamins! I am 3 weeks post op and for about the first 2 weeks I felt so weak so I started chewing 3 Vitamins instead of 2, Calcium 2, Biotin 2 daily, Vitamin D 1 daily, and the one that helped the most was B 12. The B12 I found at walgreens its all natural and its liquid also it taste very good I would highly recommend it. Hope you start feeling better.
duxtupelo 0 Posted April 4, 2012 I am now 7 days post-op from banded plication. As of today I am still a little less than normal, but I am no where as weak and tired as I was over the weekend and even Monday. You are probably getting dehydrated and not getting enough calories in. Remember Calories=energy. I picked up some of the low cal gatordte and have been sipping on that for the electrolytes and calories I think that has helped out a lot. I even went for a 20 minute walk yesterday after "light" shopping for about 2 hours. Good luck!
Ann_Marie 1 Posted April 4, 2012 I remember feeling the same way. Went grocery shopping and felt like I needed a nap. I tried to drink Protein Drinks but still felt weak. Once I progressed to mushy foods I felt so much better. I made sure I had fish and ate. I am now 4 weeks out. Still a little tired but nothing compared to the first 2 weeks. It's normal. Be patient. Good luck
