This isnt really a sweet treat, but I love creamed spinach with cream cheese .... its great.

Or i'll make a PB&J sandwich with no bread (so its more like pudding). I just mix PJ and sugar free jelly in a bowl and eat with a spoon.

amhunt -

I add one scoop Protein Powder to the SF/FF pudding mix and a touch less skim mil than the box calls for - it sets up juust fine.

My pudding i use sugar free pudding mix, instead of milk i use 1 30g Protein drink to replace most of the milk but top with milk (1/4 c), 1/2 scoup of Protein Powder to make it extra choclate & thick. I blend in the bender to fluff.

I eat it on its own or with 1 scoup of ice cream. Yummy! Guilt free! Enjoy!

On the other hand, I am rarely satisfied by anything low cal, low fat or lite. I dont like icecream much, thank goodness, but DH made an awesome stickydate pudding on Sunday and what I do is I have a collection of teeny tiny bowls that I use for that sort of thing, so I literally have a piece 2 inches square with a single spoonful of Syrup and a mere dash of cream.

Ive had some, ive enjoyed it, but its a tiny serve and wont do damage, 200 cals or less.

Other things like shortbread or chocolate, i just dont have an off switch for so when I gave them, I accept Im going to completely pig out, hence theyre allowed ino the house only once every couple if months.

Blue Bunny has really great "skinny" items. Can't.reslly tell them from regular ones. Also Weight Watchers has a wonderful strawberry ( or raspberry?) cheesecake bars with dark chocolate dip. I'm always on the lookout for anything cold and sweet!

Love them all! If they could just add Protein to them that would be perfect :)

Aldi's often has frozen treats that are a sort of sugar-free popsicle layered with white stuff. (Vague enough?) Right now I'm out of them, but I think the brand name is Fit and Active. They of a yummy 14 calories!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
