TommyO 5 Posted February 26, 2006 Based on Friday night's activities I can honestly say that I am still able to drink beer. More than one for sure and it still tastes great. I do enjoy beer just not as often and in as much quantity as before. I am taking Cheri's advice and getting rid of the Peanut Butter but if she tells me to stop drinking beer I am going to cover my ears and sing LALALALALA! until she stops
Morsaille 4 Posted February 26, 2006 I haven't had a beer yet. I HAVE had a diet soda or three. I started out very slowly and discovered that not only was it more comfortable, but the soda actually tasted better after stirring, shaking or removing most of the carbonation through another devious method (bubble blowing, tee hee). Maybe because I only have one fill, maybe because I sip at a snails pace, but I don't have any troubles, just burps.

live2canoe 1 Posted February 27, 2006 For whatever reason, I can drink beer, no problem, but diet soda (out of the can or bottle) HURTS!! I have to pour it over ice and stir it around to get rid of most of the fizzies. Only then I can drink it without pain. For the most part - it's just not worth the pain and hassle.
