Cost in Dallas

I am considering having lap-band done and will be a self-pay as my insurance company does not pay for lap-band. Can anyone tell me the cost of surgery in the Dallas/Plano area?

Dr barker did mine for 12,600 at Vista Hospital - if you go see him you must ask about Vista b/c he doesn't go there often but it's the cheapest place. www.drwbarker.com

I was $15K with Benavides at the surgery center of Richardson. I think the web site is www.lapbandsolutions.com. That includes 1 year free follow up and fills at no cost for a year. I really liked him and all of the staff at the Surgery Center of Richardson. He's got a very good record and has done over 1000 of these surgeries. Good luck in your search!
