waitingpatiently 250 Posted March 30, 2012 I'm day 6 post op....and I haven't weighed myself...but I don't think I've lost any weight since the surgery. My clothes are all fitting the same. Is this normal? I had the same experience. I was afraid to weigh because clothes that were a little big before surgery were a little tight after. But I decided I just had to know and to my suprise I had lost 8 pound in the first week! So I figured that I must still be swelling around my mid section. Plus I can tell I still have some Water weight, because my wedding ring is a little tight as well.

DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 30, 2012 The first 4-6 weeks post surgery aren't about losing weight, it's about giving your stomach time to heal. Healing should be your focus right now, the weight loss will come once you're fully recovered.
