Make sure you are up and walking around the house. I have read about that left side pain on here so others who have already been there will probably comment and give you more advice. Good luck on your journey!! I am headed that way!!

Your stomach is on the left. It may be something as simple as taking one bite too many. You may also find that things shift a bit after you drop a few more pounds and the feeling will go away.

I have actually been moving around a lot I went back to work after 6 days so that keeps me busy. I have been trying gas-x and that really hasn't helped me much. Also I still cannot eat much I have one egg for Breakfast, lunch yogurt 3oz, and dinner I have some tuna 2.3oz and all meals take me 40-50 min to eat so my bites are very small. I think I should be eating a little more but I just can't right now I get full so fast. Any one else going through this?

I have the same thing too. I cant eat much at all. I cant tolerate all the things that other people on here seem to eat with ease, eggs, tuna etc.... It just gets stuck and im forever burping it down (or up).

Like someone above said it may just be one bite too many, although your not eating much you may have got something lodged and thats causing the pain and then whatever your putting on top of that is getting lodged too. Try warm liquids for a couple of days again and it should clear. I tend to do that now just out of habit as it helps everything shift. Hope it eases for you.

That's a really good idea I think I'm gonna try that cause this really didn't start till I started my mushies and some meats. Thanks let me know how it works for you as well. When did you have your sugery? And do you still have some pain when you bend down to pick something up?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
