Many people have problems with bread, and bread products.

The best one I have heard, from someone here, is that plumbers will use bread to temporarily stop leaking pipes by putting it down the drains and clogging up the system until they can get in there and fix it permanently.

I have found that toast gives me no problems but, the softer breads can cause issues .... something about it gumming up the passage with the softer bread ..... some of the harder breads are ok also ... sometimes you have to try it just once to see if it gives you problems.... what works for me may be totally different for you

My doc told me no bread. Believe me it was hard at first but I ok with it now. He said because of the gumming feeling it gets when it is wet and just clog the band.

I could eat it up to a certain point then once I got tighter I couldn't. I love bisquits and gravy and garlic toast, but I got used to not being able to eat them. Once you get stuck on bread once, you won't miss the bread one bit.

Sour dough is a good bread.... To get stuck. You don't have to pretend! Sorry but it's worth giving it up!

I can usually do thin breads toasted (anything like crackers or crisp breads are usually okay). I really like the new small Dempsters bagels; they are 100 calories and when toasted get really crisp. Rarely I can eat a soft bread like sourdough, and I know I can only have a couple of bites.

I don't have a problem eating any type of bread, I just don't eat it very often. Sourdough was the one thing I thought I would truely miss and I really don't at all. And that's HUGE coming from a bread lover like myself!

I only have trouble with low quality doughy bread. I think half the prolem doctors have with bread is the stuff you eat with it: butter, jam, gravy. All those things are either high in fat or carbs.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
