myjourneyagain 45 Posted March 24, 2012 I have only been on this site for about two weeks now, but it has been such an inspiration to me. I went to my information session on March 7, and decided that day I was definitely going to make a change. I had already been researching about the Lap Band, so I began my journey with preparing smaller portions, taking in more Protein and less carbs. I want to be prepared for the day I actually have my surgery. I had not been able to weigh myself on my scale, but today I can say that I am 12lbs down and was able to actually see it on the scale.
