trenai77 4 Posted March 24, 2012 Was banded yesterday and I have not been able to stop this feeling and throwing up. Since I haven't ate any thing, it's just mucus and saliva. Has any one else's experienced this and what should I do to help it.
elcee 3,341 Posted March 24, 2012 Speak to your Dr, he may be able to prescribe something that helps. It is probably a reaction to the anaesthetic - they normally make me nauseous too.

mommykristie 59 Posted March 24, 2012 I had the same problem. It was a reaction to the morphine. My doctor prescribed me phenagran. I took it about 15 minutes before I would take my pain pill (Loratab- which makes me sick too). This helped tremendously until I no longer needed the pain pills. That being said, I am 8 days out and I when I wake up in the mornings I am slightly nauseous until I get a little liquid in my system. A couple of sips of a Protein Shake or juice usually takes care of it. Not quite sure why.
Mom2many 33 Posted March 24, 2012 I was very nauseous as well. Banded on Tuesday. Dr gave me a scopolamine patch and phenergan. That kicked it.
