judych 225 Posted March 24, 2012 Yes it is a bummer. According to the surgeon, the body cavity is a sealed unit and no air should be there unless some organ is leaking. The air was near my stomach so first thought was it must be the band or the port. They will go in with a camera and see what they find. If it is the band it will be removed and the docs assistant said she doubts they would ever use another band.
