That Darn Last 15 Lbs - Now I Know What All The Skinny People Talked About...

Recommended Posts

I got so sick of hearing skinny people complaining that they couldn't lose that 10-20 lbs they needed to lose. Big f------- deal. I've got over 100 lbs to lose. Let me tell you, the first 104 were easy compared to the last 15! In the past 2 1/2 yrs, I've gone down from 248 to 144 right before getting married in Dec. In the past 4 mths, I've managed to gain about 6 lbs, making me 150. The scales move up and down everyday by a pound or 2.The last 15 lbs (my goal is 135) are so hard to get rid of. I know I need to step up the exercise some to get me off my plateau.

Now I know exactly how those people who just need to lose 10-20 lbs feel. They are truly a b---- to get off!!! My goal is to be in a size 5/6 by my birthday (June 23). Guess I need to get back to basics....

Welcome to the club....I think it is typical for those who are at or near their goals. I have been gaining and losing the same 3-5 lbs for a while now.

But it's funny that you bring up how a skinny person reacts....

I'm going on vacation soon, and in the past I have always worried about my eating, possibly. gaining weight, going off the wagon, etc, etc.

But this year, on my vacation, I am going to think like a skinny person......In other words, enjoy myself, and if a gain 5 lbs in the process I will have to loose them after my vacation just as a skinny person would do!

But in the background, the band will still be there. I can indulge, but never over indulge!

WAY TO GO on getting to 144! 145 is where I want to be, but 150 is my next mini goal. Good luck on getting to your 135, you have come this far you will get there! :D

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
