Leisha249 24 Posted March 25, 2012 Good luck to all of you. I regretted getting the lap band for about 2 days after surgery. I was in so much pain. If you are driving a long way to surgery center ask you Dr to give you Rx for pain med prior to surgery day. That way you can have it with you to take as soon as you need it. I got my script as I was leaving the center and had over an hour drive, by the time I got to our home town pharmacy and got it filled and it took effect I was in bad shape. Other than that remeber your riding the "Chew Chew Chew Train now" It is a big part of it. That makes you automatically eat slower, which is also important. So, I am very happy I did this. I'm 75 lbs down as of today. Banded in Sept.

purtyfulpnay 5 Posted March 25, 2012 Hello! I am new to the site, as well. I'm scheduled to get banded on May 25 (Memorial Day Weekend). It was only a month ago that I went to a seminar and had some tests done. It's more surreal to me now that I already have a date scheduled. Can't wait!
