Well, I missed the show last night.....Anybody have any predictions on who is going to win? I have been reading this morning that Taylor is sure to win.

I didn't watch either, but mom called me after the show and said that taylor ran away it. who knows how the voting will go? Mom was really blown away by taylor.

Katherine repeated two songs that made them both sound tired. The last songs that were written for the cometition (?) were awful cheese-fests...much like the season ending songs "moment like this" and "flying without wings", etc. Hicks was the only original last night. Bad finish to a good season (IMHO). Taylor should win...no wait, that rocker Chris should still win even though he was kicked off!

Taylor surely out sang Kat, but stranger things have happened. I do think he will win because he is so different from other Idol winners or wanna be's. It has been a good season, but as others have stated, it would have been nice to see Chris standing at one of the last two.

I wouldn't say who will win...the four-hour voting last night may prove disastrous for my Taylor...we are in central time zone here (and most everyone I know is long asleeep by the midnight cut-off), whereas the west coast voters who liked Katherine were finished voting by 9:00 Pm? Is that correct, or do they replay the show at 8:00 PST and keep the voting open 'til midnight? I've often wondered how it's done...

Well, here's hoping that Taylor wins:hungry:

We saw the show at 8p last night. I am on the West Coast. So we get the same time frame for voting.

OH and future reference you guys on the East Coast know who wins before we do out here on the West Coast. I have to remind myself to not even visit this site till I have seen the shows. I got many a night ruined when I found out who got voted off before I saw the show. LOL!!!

I think Taylor's has it in the bag. He was just awesome last night. Katherine was good too but I think Taylor was just better.

I have a feeling Taylor will win.

But wont Chris be on tonite? I will watch the entire 2 hours just to see him sing ONE song again, lol! I pathetically adored him and still think he will be the biggest star of them all (fingers crossed). Has the 3rd place person ever surpassed the winner and second?

We are watching Fox news at 6, it's after 6 here ya know. Well, all of the anchors, weathermen, reporters, cameramen, etc. have sprayed their hair gray!!! It is SOOO funny!!!!

They are having an Idol watching party at the Birmingham Civic Center for the results - I would say that over 10,000 people are there already!!! That is just crazy!!!

I wonder if there is a big Katherine party going on in LA, with everybody wearing long brown wigs???

See, that's the one thing I kinda like about the south, it seems that everyone pulls together to support fellow southerners (although that can get very messy, indeed!!!)

What a surprise the all-stars that appeared tonight...Prince. Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Meatloaf, Al Jareaue, Toni Braxton, Mary J Blidge, Many of the past contestants. It was fun and wild to see the shock of the appearances. Still don't know who will win. I don't really care though..the best were all booted off...
