Shontel 3 Posted February 24, 2006 I have Leslie Sampson also, I absolutely love the 2 & 3 mile...EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNERS & VERY LOW IMPACT, which for me with my ol' bad knees that's a plus!! I've done a LOT of videos and this is the best, i think for someone like myself who is heavy and needs something very low impact and easy. I got mine online at http://www.Collagevideo.com that site by the way, is terriffic for any exercise video. They have a great rating system based on intensity ect...Hope that helps! ReneBean 3 Posted February 25, 2006 I am pretty fat - and I joined the local Express Fitness. So far, the folks there haven't treated me badly - and there are even some of others that come close to my size. If you have Express Fitness where you are, I recommend them. The fees are really low (at least in my town) and they have all the basics. Good luck!
Dragonwillow 0 Posted February 25, 2006 If you or your kids have a playstation or xbox try dance dance revolution. it's alot of fun and you don't even feel like you are working out. My daughter plays it more than me and she has lost about 15lbs playing it recently and she hasn't changed her eating habits. I play it mostly on the weekends. I tend to be a social/exerciser and need to go to the gym to get my social time in as well. It helps that I work there. The game has a "workout" mode and it keeps track of calories burned...and in the workout mode you don't even have to be good, you just have to keep moving. As far as exercise videos...I really like Zumba (its a latin dance one) and the ones I used to love when I first started working out was Richard simmons. They were fun, and it was nice to see other people of various sizes doing the exercises and not just the fitness crew like in MOST videos.
