I'm scheduled for band placement in 5 weeks, I'm like a kid waiting for Santa. It cannot get here fast enough! But I too weighed the options, it was frustrating. I wanted results, obviously, but didn't feel comfortable with removal of the stomach and rerouting, malabsorption etc..

So I'm thankful for this forum. All the support and information. My surgeon has been very helpful as well.

As long as you remember it's a tool and not the solution, the rest is up to you! Right?
