Different scales...different weight....

whats that all about???? I have a scale at home that i have been using and it says i am one thing then i go to the drs office and it says something else. Its only off by 4 -5 lbs but that makes a huge difference in my oppinion. how do i know what my weight is if every scale is different??? im really frustrated!!!!!!!

That is how my Dr's office is.... its off by 4-5 pounds.... UGH!!!!! anyway I go by MY weight scale.... if I weight myself at all... I hate that thing...

I think that Dr's offices up the scales a few just to make you feel bad LOL..... who knows

HEHE! I no this is not funny, But Ive been there! I went through five before I found one that was accurate! at a Hardware store,menards under $30.00 the first four almost went flying through the AIR.

Good luck take your time you will find one,best time to weigh your self is in the morning!

I have the same problem so I just go get weighed by the dr.office then come home and see the difference is on mine and know that whatever my scale says it is actually 6 lbs less at the doctors office!

Take the one that says the lowest, then get on that one only during your "woman week".

Seriously though, you are putting too much emphasis on the actual number. Pounds and numbers really and truly do not matter as much as leaning, toning and inches. The feel and fit of your clothing matters. If you are replacing fat with muscle then you might not see a huge dip in the scales. Don't worry so much about the pounds and numbers, just about how you are feeling and other nsv's.

scales are different from one another, that's just a fact of life. If you really want to track your weight, do it on ONE scale ONLY. The differential between your scale and that at your doc's office doesn't matter--only the difference between your scale on Monday and your scale the following Monday. Don't worry at all about the different numbers on different scales, especially if they're consistently different. Then you know it's just the scale.

i think als when we weigh ourselves at home we are usually nekkid. getting everything off of us possible. but you can't do that in a doc's office. well, you could, but they might ask you to leave, lol
