Port Area

Can anyone tell me how long it took you to heal in the port area? As far pulling and soreness?

I was sore for a few weeks. I am just getting over having irritated my port. I forget sometimes that I need to be careful with that area.

My port area was never sore after the surgery...however now that I can work out, I feel the pulling when doing things such as push ups. Talked to the surgeon and he was not worried about it, but told me that if it really started to bother me that he could move my port!

Mine actually hurt for a couple weeks initally, and then off and on depeding on what I've been doing throughout the day.

Had my surgery wed the 7th. The muscle soreness and tenderness has gotten better but it is still a little difficult to get up after laying down and I still can't pickup anything from the ground. I'm sure it's a few weeks.
