I have been taking Celbrate brand Multivitamins and calcium citrate since surgery. Never did like them, and its to the point now they make me nauseous. I think it is the fruit flavor along with the texture. If anyone has any recommendations I would sure appreciate it!

I take a liquid Calcium by Country Life. It has a slight blueberry taste, a little chalky. The people at the Co op I buy it from reminded me to only take 500 mg at a time, it's all the body can assimilate at a time, I take a half capful 3X daily.

have you ever thought of buying a powder, for example, barley green, which is in powder form, and you mix with Water? ? ive got a new jar of it here now. im going to start with it tomorrow and just keep it up. its got heaps of nutritional value, and its all organic. if you can tolerate the taste, i think its the best way to go. Certainly easier to digest, thats for sure. ( it smells and tastes like green barley ) just a thought here as well. you can spinkle it onto your salads as well... its very versatile.

I had the same exact problem! I switched to One-a-Day chewables for adults and Calcium+Vit D soft chews (chocolate) and things are much better!

Review your meds with your primary care doctor and find out what can be crushed and what comes in a liquid. I have been on a number of meds and some were switched from extended release to short acting and I take more frequently. Also, if you should ever require an antibiotic, just remind your doctor you need liquid or crushable pills. It worked well for me. I crush my meds and take in unsweetened applesauce.

this is what concerns me now. i take blood pressure meds, one a day and they are just so hard.. its going to be difficult to mash them up. i have to take them though... so i need to start mashing them now. also, are we ever able to take pills after our tummies have settled down?/ i take CoQ10... two a day.. and also i take osteo panadol when i need to. What do you all do with your meds now??

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
