Is anyone else having the same troubles I am? I go in and get my fill and he tells me to come back in 4 weeks. Then when I go to schedule my next appointment I can't get in for 8 weeks. Then two weeks after making my appointment they call to reschedule me and can't get me until 7 weeks after that appointment. This is the second or possibly 3rd time this is happened. I went through the roof and asked why they do this to me every time and they said Dr. Snow only does fills 2 days a week and only does 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. The doctor has surgeries twice a week. How are all of us that have had the surgery supposed to get our fills if he is only doing 6 a day twice a week? I'm so upset right now. I want to lose my weight and I paid him to do it to help me through this journey and that means fills and now I can't seem to get them. I just feel like this is poor customer service. Am I out of line? Is there something I don't know or I'm not thinking of? Please, your thoughts.....

Thanks!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
