The Vitamin Shoppe. Although I think you can get them other places. I like the Vitamin Shoppe because they have a 30 day return policy. If you try something and don't like it they let you bring it back for store credit. The selection was good, and I figured that even if I tried every brand they had and hated them I could use the store credit on Vitamins. I'm sure other places have that policy too, but VS is right by my house.

Muscle milk light isn't too bad. I usually drink Unjury, and my fiance drinks the whey Protein Isolate from Vitamin Shoppe. I would stay away from Medifast, for the most part they taste terrible. We recently discovered something called Milk and Egg protein at Vitamin Shoppe also...best tasting of all the ones I've tried!

I use the EAS Pure Protein chocolate. 23g protein and 7 carbs. I mix it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Yum. Even yummier when I add a tsp of instant coffee dissolved in about 1/4c. of hot Water.< /p>

I picked up my shake this weekend, I went to GNC and they told me to get the Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60, can anyone tell me if that is the correct one, there are so many to choose from.

I saw someone else posted they picked up the 100% Protein Shake from GNC so I wanted to see if this was not the correct ... help! please!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
