xavier 153 Posted March 8, 2012 There is a blog called the sweet spot by band_groupie that calls it being a scale *****...she even has a scale whores anonymous group! I still weigh every day even though it never changes...as long as it doesnt increase stress (and you sound like you have a healthy attitude about it!) I think its fine. Jess55 97 Posted March 9, 2012 I too am addicted to the scale. I would weigh everyday, mostly many times per day. Sometimes I would get frustrated and force myself to stay off for a few days. It would be hard, but I'd do it. I started with a personal trainer today. Our goal is to decrease body fat. She checked it today and will check it again in 5 weeks. She told me, no stepping on the scale for 5 weeks. Tonight I put my scale in the closet. This is going to be very hard, but I'm going to do it. She said seeing the number on the scale and if you get discouraged, can mess with your hormones and stop weight loss. I'm going to do my best to stay off, so not to get frustrated.
