Day 7.after Surgery Znd Feeling Might Good!

I don't have my pre op visit until Mon Mar 12, however I met with my nutritionist today. She gave samples of my next stage of foods. I never thought I would ever be excited over mashed potatoes n gravy! I have some unflavered Protein Powder and I just stopped by KFC to order. Oh my! How yummy they taste. I am so sick of sweet ptotein drinks. This is " heavenly".

Plus I was a bit concerned with my weight loss since surgery. Too much to be healthy. I am down like 14 lbs. In a week! Now...don't get me wrong; I don't want it back!!! Lol! However I knew I needed to add more per meal than the first week allowance of 2 oz. I have material she gave me presurgery but it was nice to get clarification and menu samples

No worry about sudden wt in first week it slows down sometimes to our dismay. Enjoy! And keep It up.

I remember my first bite of real food, it was eggs mashed up and cottage cheese...oh delicious...I am losing weight quite fast as well, I just figured it was because of the diet they have me on and the fact that I have cut my calorie intake over half of what I used to eat....am I wrong? These first few weeks how much should I be losing? So glad to hear you are doing so well.
