sam3841 57 Posted March 7, 2012 This is really embarrassing but I recently as of the beginning of Feb, switched birth control methods to the depo shot. My period is two weeks late and there is no chance I am preggers, unless its an act of God. My Dr did mention that in some in women they noticed a reduction to total lost of period in 9 months. But its only been a month, so I don't think its that. Has anyone had this happen?
vdewberry 0 Posted March 7, 2012 Hi, I was the same way, I've been on the shot for 9 years and I love it! As soon as I got my 1st shot never had cramps or a period....best birth control ever!!!! LOL
armymom2012 51 Posted March 7, 2012 I was given a Depot Shot before Uterine Ablation Surgery. I was told that it would stop my period, so that I could have the surgery.
