chrissylu 153 Posted February 29, 2012 Wondering if there are any bandsters from Nashville, TN here. If so, who was your surgeon? When were you banded?
newbe 5 Posted February 29, 2012 Hi, I am a patient of Dr Charles Morton. He is great. I was banded on Jan 30th. Had first fill on Feb 13th. Have lost aprox 15 lbs. So far so good. How about you????
chrissylu 153 Posted February 29, 2012 Dr. Morton is my doc too! Banded Jan 25th. Had an "unfill" on 2/1 (big mistake...I should have been more patient) but then re-filled on 2/15. Hoping to get my 2nd one next Tuesday. Doing good!

Toddy 758 Posted March 1, 2012 Another fan of Dr. Morton!! I had surgery on January 31st and first fill on February 13. I get my second fill on March 7 and I can't wait!! I'm down 18 pounds. I like the fact that Dr. Morton doesn't mess around and wants to get the band working as soon as possible! 1 chrissylu reacted to this
chrissylu 153 Posted March 1, 2012 well...that first week...I followed his schedule for the couple of days liquids, couple days mushies, then try the solids. I didn't get sick or stuck but I was having a lot of pain. So I went in they took out 1cc. I could breathe! 24 hours later, I realized what my problem had been. I had been weighing my meats instead of measuring them. I was eating too much! Plus, I've realized since then that my band had not truly "settled" yet. So..I wasted about 2 wks of possible weight loss because they wouldn't adjust again until my 3 wk check-up. At my 3 wk, I got 1.5 cc. And yes..I love also that Dr. Morton doesn't mess around! Everyone in that office has been great! What has been the toughest part for you all?
