Kim Whiteman-Enos 0 Posted February 28, 2012 today is my one week since surgery had my staples removed lost 10 pounds in 1 week i forgot to ask Dr's office about can you have sex? I am still sore on left side and steri strips on the incisions. Hubby has been on the road and comes home tonight and i am scared to open any incisions. Since I didn't ask, I just went with how I felt, for me that was four days post op. lorabeth 10 Posted March 4, 2012 It is just like having a baby and they say to wait 6 weeks. There is all sorts of healing going on inside. You might feel fine, but your body is not completely done doing its job! My post op directions say 3 weeks. So that is what is happening here!
