transforming jlaroux 78 Posted February 22, 2012 I love the term, comfortable fill. That is exactly what I have. I can only eat about 1/2 cup of food, then I'm done. I'm satisfied, so I don't feel like I'm missing out. I'm also learning to dislike Pasta and bread. It's just a holder for the good stuff on the inside! lol. Physically, Pasta and bread make me throw up. I can't handle it. It's an awful feeling. Anyway, to answer the original posters question, I am 9 months out and I have lost 80 pounds. My goal is 100 pounds by May 24 (my 1 year bariversary). At about 6 months, I had lost about 50 pounds, I think.
jsea 3 Posted February 24, 2012 I'm 6 months out and have only lost 30lbs. It is a bit depressing seeing so many people at 60+ lbs lost but I try to stay positive throughout this journey and not compare myself to others and stay positive. I have hypothyroidism as well as type 1 diabetes and the fact of the matter is that it will take me much longer to lose weight. I will kep striving though to get these lbs off even if it takes me years. If nothing else, I weigh less than I did 6 months ago. 1 Cazzy reacted to this
marfar7 1,533 Posted February 26, 2012 At 6 maths I had only lost like 20 lbs. I didn't even have retricition till I was 5 maths in. Now over 2 yrs, I've lost 104 lbs and about 9 lbs from goal. I lost it alot slower than most but that's ok. I've also noticed that im able to eat alot more recently and thank God I haven't gained. But that first 6 maths was rough Marci
