Where Can I Buy Liquid Medicine?

Recommended Posts

I have been to every pharmacy near by and no one carries adult liquid tylenol. Where is everyone buying it? Can I crush regular rapid release tylenol? The children's stuff is sooo expensive!

I find it at Walmart, but Tylenol does not work well for me. I use a double dose of Jr. Strength liquid ibuprophen sometimes.

I haven't had any problem swallowing regular Tylenol geltabs (not caps).

I've looked at walgreens, CVS, Walmart, and target. I'm asking for acetomeniphine, and its a no go, even for the store brands. I'm only a little more than a month out, and just had a fill so I'm not quite ready to attempt an actual gel tab yet. I am also usually an ibuprofen taker, but the doc said not to. I wish I had something yesterday though. Boo!

Thanks for the input everyone!

and, OMG!!! I just looked on amazon!!!! a bottle of liquid tylenol for adults is $32!? Is this how much it costs everywhere? Holy moly! I am seeing Amazon sells it for $7 but it is out of stock and everyone else is charging $32.

after spending some time in contemplation, I've determined that I am not capable of buying medicine on ebay. Too scared lol.

You can buy the children's liquid Tylenol and just use a little more. I went out and bought some before hand but I was also prescribed a liquid Tylenol with codeine so I couldn't take the children's stuff anyways. The doctor gave me 1 refill and I got it but haven't needed it yet.

I found it at Walmart...once. I bought 2 bottles (1 for work and 1 for home). I haven't seen it since that time!

I would definitely not recommend buying medicine from eBay. That would just freak me out, I don't care if it's sealed. You never know.

I understand how the RED Flag can go up !

I gave it a shot, and as a seller, and buyer, I do all mine on line, and on ebay.

I buy my shakes in flavors on line which I can't get in the store at a nice price, and they have always been fresh with NO problem at all. This includes ebay.

I buy all my Vitamins from a dealer on ebay.

Thats 200 Flintstones Complete with CHOLINE for $14.00, and he pays the shipping.

Never had a problem at all, and if I did it's refundable.

I jumped on the Wagon, and I'm glad I did. It saves me Gas, and Money, and I don't ave to shop around to see who has the better deal.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
