Ccorrea: are you writing down what you eat (limit to 1200 calories or less and at least 60 grams of proteins) each day?

Are you exercising?

What is your accountability? Are you recording weekly weigh-ins.

I did all of the above to lose 115 lbs in 14 months.

Let me know if you need any exercise ideas or food tips.

Please check in and let us know how you're doing :)

I admit i could be doing better I start out really good but then i give up because I'm still feeling hungry. I've tried just portioning my meals but I'm still hungry ... I have had 4 fills and not feeling the restriction... I'm even thinking about starting on appetite suppressant's which defeats the purpose of me getting the surgery... I would really appreciate any advice or ideas that you think I could use that could help me out

I to need help. I drink all day my crystal light, but problem is I even drink when I'm not suppose to around meals. I take mess that make my mouth dry so I'm constantly taking sips. I know I'm not suppose to do that . How do I break this habit of drinking before during and after meals? What are some EASY meals to prepare myself when you live with 9 other people and will offend them if you don't eat what they prepare?

How much Water are you drinking? I find that drinking regularly and good quantity really helps with hunger pangs - as often I just misinterpret - i am not hungry but thirsty. Hope you are having a better week :-)

I would love some support I am still in the begininng stages of my journey but I am trying to get a jump start on the eatin habits and excercisng but I feel like no one supports my choices at home. They say they do the do the opposite of what they say I want to keep motivated and excited but it's really hard.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
