sherrypep 91 Posted February 9, 2012 I had my first fill last week. It did not hurt, but the needle got stuck in the port and the PA had to pull and pull to get it out. It felt like I had a cork inside me. It is a little easier to feel it now I hope she didn't mess anything up. She did not want to do a fill because I had lost 9 pounds in 4 weeks, but instead of putting in 4ccs like they usually start with she only put 2ccs in. I don't feel any restriction and I can eat little bits during the day and quite bit for dinner.< /p>
mrsclooney918 47 Posted February 11, 2012 To fill or not to fill. I feel like I am always negotiating with my NP to do it! But now instead of coming every 6 weeks, I come every 8 weeks. It's a better measure for me because when I wasn't getting a fill, within two-three weeks, I couldn't stay full. You'll hear it a lot here. It does take time to feel that restriction. I think it was my fifth fill until I knew what it really felt like. Personally, I think I need one more fill and I will be right there. I have an appt on Monday and I will bet she will not agree with me.
