I've doubled my Water intake bring me up to about 48 oz per day. Surgery is first thing tuesday morning' date='and I'm ready! A little apprehensive,but excited about getting it behind me. Kmom2 12 Posted March 26, 2012 Maryjoann, don't sweat it. Everybody falls down. Just pick yourself back up, and start back on the diet. You can do this, I am positive of it. When I would feel like cheating I would remind myself that it could jeopordize the surgery and that was enough (most times) to keep me on track. Nicki823 9 Posted March 27, 2012 Day 5 for me on the other side and doing great, I feel a little better everyday. I have been trying to get out a little every day. I still can't eat all I am supposed to eat but doing my best to get in as much as possible. My new issue is a pain in my lift rib as anyone experianced this. Hey Alerker! I have the same pain. i asked my doctor about it today and he says it's sensitivity from the port. Also says it will go away as the swelling goes down. Hope that helps! sassybee 8 Posted March 27, 2012 First day back at work! It actually was easier because it kept my mind off of food. Only eating clear fluids didn't seem so annoying.
