preneec 6 Posted March 2, 2012 Today I started my pre-op liver shrinking diet. The next 14 days should be a piece of cake. I've actually been practicing the diet for about a week now and have lost weight already. Surgery is on March 15th. I met with my NP and made my payments for the surgery and I'm all set now. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. No more poor eating habits. Portion Control, exercise and lots and lots of prayer for will power and strength! 1 Ladybug28 reacted to this

NWgirl 574 Posted March 2, 2012 I am on a low-fat diet and have found I am loving chicken salad. I bought a rotisserie chicken and removed the skin, then use 3-4oz per salad. Fred Meyer/Kroger sell a butter lettuce/lolla rosa mix which I mix with lite Kraft ranch, chicken, and a small amount of zesty croutons. It is a really delicious meal and only around 300 calories! Yum
