Tina L 1 Posted February 4, 2012 I was banded on July 5,2011. I have lost 38 lbs total. I have recently lost my job and suffer from depression anyway. My question is what steps have others taken to get back on track? Do I go back to liquids or mushes? I have 4.5 in my band and feel some restriction but man does the bad food go down easy!! When I eat what I am supposed to I can't eat much but sometimes I just need to eat and will grab "bad" food. It is so frustrating!! I also am having a hard time getting motivated to exercise. Thanks for any suggestions. I don't usually post but am very worried that I will never lose this weight.
54Shirley 105 Posted February 4, 2012 I have been where you are, and you need to get back on Track. Go to myfitnesspal.com it's free, and sign up. You can log everything that you eat, and the exercise that you get, and view other peoples diary see what they are eating, and get ideas for yourself. I am there, and so are allot of other people from here. So give it a shot. It's worth it This way you can go back to te basics. for starts.

Tina L 1 Posted February 5, 2012 I know! Depression really plays a huge part of your overall health and I think if I could just get out of this rut I could lose again. At least you are going to the gym. I might get another fill this next week and see if it helps. Thanks for responding. I don't want to be a Debbir downer but I don't know anyone who has had the band done so it help to talk. 1 Holly Dolly reacted to this

1shauna1 129 Posted February 5, 2012 It's difficult...I think you need to see doctors, both for depression and then for possibly another fill. I'm not sure that getting a fill will help with the bad foods....I never have an issue with those either!
