paula 4 Posted February 19, 2006 Im like Jack - no problems with hamburger, but extreme caution is used when eating steak. Have you tried eating your hamburger meat with lots of ketchup? This may help.
Jachut 487 Posted February 19, 2006 Might it depend how you eat it. We only really eat in in bolognaise sauce or chilli.
leighhoffman 0 Posted February 19, 2006 Thanks for your advise. I guess that I am not going to be able to eat hamburger meat. It is not the end of the world I guess. Thanks again for your advise.
sarabride2006 0 Posted February 19, 2006 I haven't had a problem w/it but I don't eat it often. I usually cook it down and use the fat free gravy in it to "soup" it up. My FI will eat that with bread, and I'll spread it over squash or brussel sprouts..
AJ1107 0 Posted February 19, 2006 I don't have any problem with it, but I do always cook it with something. I fry the meat, drain off all grease then cook it with rotel or ranch style Beans or spaghetti sauce. It Soups it up and there hasn't been any problems. babsintx3 0 Posted February 19, 2006 Leighann, The leaner the beef, the harder it is to eat because it is dryer unless lubed to death. I can eat chili, but usually substitute beef for lean turkey which for some reason is easier for me to eat. I really dont miss hamburgers, although when I was unfilled last year, I hit Fuddruckers and had a 5 oz burger loaded and it was so gooood... I used to be Wimpie before banding.... I 'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today......LOL Babs in TX 334/180ish
Iluvharleys 15 Posted February 19, 2006 I don't have any problems eating hamburger. I fix it up just like I would with the bun, only use lettuce leaves for the bun. It takes my cravings away for the regular burger.

JAYGERL05 0 Posted February 20, 2006 You might want to try a soy burger. I bought a box and seasoned the meat and they were good.
