sam3841 57 Posted February 1, 2012 Warm fluids works everytime for me, especially those times I can't get to the Dr. It's usually the case that you are just swollen, stay away from cold fluids. It does take s lot to cause a band to slip, I had food poisoning and threw up for literally 10 hours straight and still didn't slip.
Lilygirl40 3 Posted February 1, 2012 WOW 10 hours. That's good to know. I tend to be a little paranoid about stuff. Warm fluids do help. I just wish it would heal faster!! I am so exhausted from not eating. All I want to do is sleep and I HAVE to go to work. ggggrrrr....
LapBandBarbie 5 Posted February 2, 2012 My dietician told me to keep meat tenderizer on hand for things like this. Apparently you can consumer a spoonful of the meat tenderizer powder and it's been known to help meat slide through. The idea repulses me, but you may want to give it a try! Let us know what happens, either way. Fingers crossed for you!
Lilygirl40 3 Posted February 2, 2012 @Lapbandbarbie, first....LOVE THE NAME!!! hahahaha That is great!!! I believe the meat digested at some point. it was the digesting that was hard for the tummy. It got swollen and irritated. Finally woke up this morning without much pain at all so all seems to be good. These first couple of months sure are a learning process. Lesson number 1...don't get cocky about you can eat. Follow the protocol. 1 #MagicWithinme reacted to this
