amberakamom 13 Posted January 27, 2012 Hey Vegas Losers! Thought it would be nice to have our own group. I just moved here in August, so I had to choose a new surgeon. I decided to go with Dr. Umbach. Turns out I probably have a leak! He has never been able to get any liquid out of my port (we've tried 3 times.) I was banded on 1-26-11, and now I am waiting on getting a replacement. My insurance (tricare) denied it. The surgeons office is working on getting it approved now. I do go to Dr. Umbach's office to purchase my shake mix since his office is closer to my house! I was banded 12-01-2010. I have lost over 200 pounds in the 14 months since surgery.
