eac00100 1 Posted January 25, 2012 When going for "fills" is it normal for the doctor to REMOVE instead of adding Water (per medical records) when one doesn'thave any problems other than being hungery? I have surgery over 6 monthes ago.
Cazzy 725 Posted January 25, 2012 It woulld have been better to ask the doctor if he removed any liquid while u were there , i know sometimes my one withdraws all the Fluid then puts it back in plus some, that way they can check for leaks.
smatyas 0 Posted January 27, 2012 Everyone who adjusts bands should be removing all liquids from the band every time they adjust your band. By doing so they can keep accurate records of how much Fluid is currently in your band and how much they add in additionaly to help you feel more restricted. This is the only way to see if the saline is asperating out of the band between fills without the use of fluoro and radiopaque fluids.
