elsykes39 0 Posted January 21, 2012 I am itching a little bit at my site but at night I itch all over is anyone having that problem? I am 3 weeks out from my operation and it's getting worse any advise?
laddie1229 18 Posted January 21, 2012 Are you still one any meds, change soaps, try a new food? Are you broke out in a rash or hives? Try an oatmeal bath in warm not blazing hot Water, doesn't have to be that colloidal oatmeal the stuff you eat works just as well, just make it a little finer on blender. I also would call my doctor. Good luck.
Brown Kameleon 15 Posted January 21, 2012 Could be your pain meds if it's an opiate cuz of the histamine. If its just your incisions healing then use Vitamin e
Violet953 46 Posted January 21, 2012 Brown Kameleon is right...the pain meds make certain people itch like crazy!

GermaineF 25 Posted January 21, 2012 I itched like crazy also, but my incisions had gotten really red and were HOT to the touch, but this was a few days after my surgery. Had to go back in to dr and he said i was allergic to the glue they used to close my incisions..So he had to remove the clue and put me on a oral steroid to stop the reaction....it was aweful...
