Online Personal Trainer

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone

I was wondering about online trainer programs because i have come to realize that with my weight loss journey i need professional help of some sort because what i am dong on my own is sporadic and really not getting the job done i do not know what is going on with me i work out for 3 days straight then i stop for three days its just not right for a young man who wants to lose weight really bad just cant cut the mustard in my heart i want to get the job done but my head always make an excuse things are really boring for me when i work out.I believe dealing with a professional would really help and give me some motivation cause right know thats my biggest hurdle.

So do you guys know of any online programs were you deal with a professional trainer who writes up a custom program to help you reach your goals thats good for you and caters to your abilitys cause i need a change of some sort.Has anyone ever done something like this.

Thanks

Brandon

I've never heard of anything like this, however, bodybuilding.com can give you really good programs based on your goals (for FREE) and it's kind of like the Facebook for fitness gurus so you can really get some help and good information from people who really live and work in the fitness world. Hope this helps teeth_smile.gif

sounds like maybe you need even more accountability than an online training program since you already need to exercise, but you are not doing it. Maybe a personal trainer you meet with once or twice a week or a gym buddy to hold you accountable?

How do you think someone on line will help you because just like you dont want to exercise for three days it is just as simple not to turn on your computer. You have to want this really bad if not no one can make you do it but you.

I'm not motivated, so its a matter of being encouraged and getting past that which holds you back. Soon as the income tax comes, I'll be trying the gym near by. There are many factors , not just will power. Some folks have all the support in the world to push ya and get you moving, some do not- for me I HATE having to always do everything by myself. I hope our wl group starts up again soon. Since I was banded they had some issues, and no meetings. So Brandon try to find that which gets ya motivated to start moving. I am working towards that goal.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
