BayougirlMrsS 3,934 Posted January 17, 2012 sometimes it does... depends on how your dr. does it. My main dr. does not hurt, but the new dr. did...
BayougirlMrsS 3,934 Posted January 17, 2012 Depends on the doctor. My main doctor places a round pillow behind my back and i never had any problems. Now the other doctor in the office makes you do a crunch.... and he does hurt.

xavier 153 Posted January 17, 2012 Getting stuck with the needle hurts like when they stick you for a flu shot...but a flu shot hurts bad when they put in the stuff and with your fill you dont feel it at all. Some docs numb you up first with a shot of lidocaine but it hurts the same as the fill shot so my doc doesnt bother.
Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted January 17, 2012 Most of my fills have felt like a quick mosquito bite stick. Once I asked my surgeon, "So, how much fill are you going to put in?" and he laughed and said, "I'm finished! I just put in 1 cc." I've had lidocaine shots before fills, and the lidocaine shot usually hurts more than the fill shot.
